Production area Alsace, France Terroir Keuper mud, dolomite rock and gypsum Grapes Riesling 100% Vinification Hand harvested followed by a little skin contact to bring out the underlying aromas. Soft pressing and pumping 50% into stainless steel tanks and 50% into oak barrels. Fermentation lasts between 1 and 6 months at controlled temperatures between 11 and 14 °C. Ageing Aging in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels in a 50/50 ratio for a maximum of 10 months. Colour: Dark yellow colour Bouquet: Distinctive smoky, juicy fruit and siliceous mineral aromas. Taste: Intense and deep, with sharp, concentrated flavours of caramel, apricot and peach. Great length and texture of ripe fruit on the finish. Food Pairing: Suitable with white meats, pasta, fish and soft cheeses. Alcohol: 13,5 % vol. Serving temperature: 10 °C. Potential for ageing: Up to 10 years
