Château Lalande red wine in a 1.5 L magnum bottle comes from the Saint-Julien appellation in the Bordeaux wine region and is made from a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. This magnum bottle makes an excellent gift or a refined addition to your tasting menu. The maceration process lasts for 21 days. The wine is aged for 12 months in barrique barrels, which are replaced every three years—meaning that 30% of the barrels used are always new.

The wine has a ruby red color that gradually transitions to garnet with brick-red reflections. The aroma is initially subtle and begins to open up after 15–20 minutes. At Dobrá vína, we first notice floral notes of dark blossoms, followed by hints of dried blueberries. Then comes the distinctive character of charred wood and ash—not from barrel aging, but drawn by the vine’s roots from the subsoil. These are followed by notes of freshly forged iron and dark chocolate. The taste is dry, with firm tannins and vibrant acidity.

This red wine pairs perfectly with meat-based dishes. Serve it with roasted dark meats in sauces, marinated grilled steaks, or game specialties. When preparing the meal, use smoked salt, fresh herbs, and bold spices.

The ideal serving temperature is 15–16 °C. A large wine glass with sufficient oxygen exposure is recommended. We suggest decanting the wine before serving or letting it breathe in the open bottle for a longer time.
