Detailed information

Product detailed description

From clay soils to clay-loam mud. Originally alluvial-colluvial, stony with good drainage. Mild Mediterranean climate with high temperature variation between day and night.

Harvest and Vinification:
The climatic conditions during the 2014 season were favorable, with a long, dry harvest period and no rainfall. There were some instances of spring frost. Although Alto Cachapoal was unaffected, there was a slight drop in yield. The wines are exceptionally ripe, with good tannin concentration and a fresh, spicy character.

Harvest: First week of May
Aging: 12 months in French and American oak barrels
