TERRAJE, PARAJES DEL VALLE

Terraje is a red wine produced by Bodegas Parajes del Valle with Monastrell under the D.O. Jumilla.

Terraje is the living history of the people who have helped to preserve exceptional vineyards since the 19th century. The best plots have been selected in the Parajes de la Fuente de Las Perdices and La Cañada de Albatana. They are organic Monastrell vineyards with goblet trained vines, strictly unirrigated, at an altitude of 700m, between 30 and 40 years old. They are low production plantations, about 1500 kg per hectare.

The vineyards are located on very well aerated slopes, which together with the upright growth habit of the Monastrell are well ventilated, protecting them from diseases. They are fermented and refined in 5000L vats. The result is a unique wine that reflects the expression of our land.

Terraje Tasting Notes

It has aromas of red fruits with balsamic notes.

On the palate it is fresh, silky, balanced, with good acidity and a long finish.
