    Product detailed description

    Grape Variety: Cabernet Franc
    Soil:
    Its "millarges" terroir (sandy soil on friable limestone) allows for very rapid warming of the soil, promoting excellent grape maturity. The old vines are selected from the plateau at the top of the hillside, overlooking the Vienne River, with a beautiful south-facing exposure. The intense fruitiness and smooth yet powerful tannins make it a perfect match for a meat pie or well-prepared small game. A gourmet gem in the land of Rabelais.

    Vinification:
    Careful harvesting of grapes at optimal maturity. Traditional vinification with moderate tannin extraction. Pumping over at the beginning of fermentation.
