This single malt is made from unpeated barley grown, malted, and distilled in France. At the heart of the cellars of Maison Bache-Gabrielsen, this whisky, after double distillation, begins its aging in American oak cognac casks, before being finished in barrels that previously held Très Vieux Pineau des Charentes Bache-Gabrielsen.
This five-year-old whisky develops indulgent aromas of pear and sun-ripened mirabelle plums. On the palate, it is floral, with a hint of acacia honey. The aging process gives it elegance and a long finish.
