ST-NECTAIRE FERMIER AOP L'ARVERNE
L'Arverne is matured in our cellars on spruce wood boards for more than 28 days.
It is the flagship cheese of Vaissaire Papon, proudly awarded three medals at this year's Concours Général Agricole in Paris – 1 Gold and 2 Silver. 🥇🥈🥈❤️
Produced from the natural pastures of Cantal and Puy-de-Dôme in the Auvergne region, this pressed cheese was said to be the favourite of the Sun King. Round, creamy and generous, it offers a rich variety of flavours that appeal to a wide range of cheese lovers.
Its paste is supple and cream-coloured, while its rind is thin with delicate grey hues. On the palate, it reveals subtle hazelnut notes. Saint-Nectaire has been the signature cheese of the Vaissaire Papon cellars, where it has been carefully matured with passion and expertise since 1958.
