This organic Bonarda 2020 from Bodega Chakana comes from carefully tended vineyards at altitude in Mendoza. The grapes are grown using sustainable and organic practices, ensuring a pure expression of the variety and terroir. Bonarda, once overshadowed by Malbec, is gaining recognition for its vibrant character and aging potential.

The wine is fermented with native yeasts and aged partly in concrete tanks and partly in used oak barrels, preserving fruit intensity while adding subtle structure. Aromas of black cherry, plum, and violet blend with earthy and spicy undertones. On the palate, it is juicy, medium-bodied, with smooth tannins and refreshing acidity.
